About me

I am currently working as a Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science & Telecommunication Engineering (CSTE) at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh .

I obtained my Ph.D. in Pattern Analysis and Computer vision from Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) affiliated with University of Genoa (Italy) in 2017 supervised by Prof. Vittorio Murino and Dr. Alessandro Perina. During my Ph.D., I spent 6 amazing months as Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) supervised by Prof. Amit K. Roy-Chowdhury. Before the current position, I was a postdoctoral fellow for 3 months working with Dr. Alessio Del Bue. Previously, I received my M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania (ULBS) under the Erasmus Mundus external window in 2011. Before that, I obtained my B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from University of Dhaka in 2009.

Computer Vision and Image Processing, Person Re-identification, Scene Classification and Object Recognition, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Vision Sensor Network.
